{CASHEW DIP}

This dip is so tasty (but not at all lowfat).  Cashews make a great base for creams, dips, and sauces.

1 1/2 c. raw cashews
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. Bragg Liquid Aminos*
1/2 red bell pepper
2 to 3 garlic cloves


• Blend ingredients together in a food processor until smooth.

• Serve with fresh vegetables (carrots, celery, peppers, broccoli, etc.) or crackers.

*Note: You can get Bragg Liquid Aminos at most health food stores, or just use slightly less than 1/4 c. of soy sauce.

When I make this dip I use 1/8 c. soy sauce instead of the Liquid Amino, because I can't get it here. I think any more than 1/8 c. would be too strong. This is one of my all time favorites! And I don't' even like cashews!
